TrueLayer, a leading B2B corporation specializing in software solutions, is embarking on a project to promote the significance of APIs in sustaining open digital platforms. This initiative involves creating a compelling brand identity for a series of events aimed at raising awareness about the pivotal role of APIs in driving innovation and connectivity across various industries. Through engaging and informative events, TrueLayer aims to educate and inspire audiences about the transformative power of APIs in shaping the future of digital ecosystems. By championing openness and collaboration, TrueLayer's event series seeks to catalyze dialogue and foster partnerships that drive forward the evolution of digital platforms worldwide.

— The goals

The design goals for this project involve creating a brand identity that represents a series of events for a tech company. The aim is to engage a diverse range of people, including engineers, researchers, creatives, and more. The communication should be simple and engaging, with a focus on communicating the fintech and digital industry to a broad audience. It's crucial to adhere to brand guidelines and create a cohesive concept that will be used across all marketing and communication materials.

— The approach

The design focus for this project is to represent a friendly and attractive comunication with a comprehensive analysis of the tech company's target audience and brand identity. The most important keyword is atmosphere: to best describe this world, referring to it asinclusive as possible, an encouraging, open and modern tone was chosen, but also one thatknows how to transmit calm and peace. To convey a concept of empathy, 3 character have been created to represent themain targets of this series of events: graphic designers, copywriters and marketing managers. The tone of each illustration has been balanced between creativity and professionalism. Every choice is considered to create a visual identity that is consistent with the company's brand guidelines and the overall message that they want to convey. The communication is designed to give the user the idea that the Fintech Industry field can andmust be exciting and dynamic, energetic and full of possibilities for everyone. The use of typography, gradients, transparencies, overlaps and isometric projections was chosento best reflect the style of the company. The approach should also involve creating a system of design elements that can be used across a range of materials, such as posters, digial and printed supports, to maintain a consistent, engaging brand identity.
